Analyze needs and propose software solutions to solve problems.
Develop layouts and prototypes to ensure solution meets requirements
Create custom modules, fields, dashlets, layouts and views according to SugarCRM architecture.
Write well-structured and testable code following defined guidelines.
Maintain systems by monitoring and fixing software bugs.
Troubleshoot software issues and downtime that may affect the success of operations.
Integrate multiple third-party systems and APIs with custom SugarCRM modules ensuring seamless data and workflow.
Study and propose new hardware and software technologies that would be useful in improving business processes.
Maintain server and network security systems for the organization’s databases.
Provide IT support to all staff.
Qualifications and experience
Degree in Computer Science, Computer Science/Software Engineering or any closely related course
At least 3 years of experience as a software developer
Prior experience building fintech products.
Having full stack development experience is an added advantage.
Functional Skills and Abilities:
Must be proficient in PHP, MySQL and JavaScript.
Development experience with Suite CRM Enterprise Edition
Experience with JavaScript frameworks like React, AngularJS, BackboneJS.
Experience with PostMan
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Rigor and attention to detail.
Ability to quickly learn new skills and technologies.
An awareness of current issues affecting the fintech ecosystem, particularly around technology.
