Publix Implements ADC’s Interscale Balance Management Software System

Tampa, Florida – Applied Data Corporation (ADC), a leading provider of fresh produce management (FIM), recipe management, and scale management software for the retail and foodservice industries, announces that Publix Super Markets, a chain of 1,081 stores headquartered in Lakeland, Florida, has completed the implementation of InterScale, ADC’s scale management software system, in all of its stores.

InterScale now transmits data to and from barcode labeling scales in all Publix stores. InterScale communicates with over fifty different types of scales, printers and barcode labeling kiosks from a variety of manufacturers.

“We are delighted that Publix has completed the rollout of InterScale to all of its stores,” said ADC CEO Steve Loveridge. InterScale is one of three systems in ADC’s InterStore FIM software suite and works with the NutriGen Recipe Manager and P-Cubed In-Store Food Production Manager to provide grocers with an integrated software solution to help increase efficiency from their cool rays.
