Somnoware raises $9 million for sleep management software system

Charlotte, North Carolina sleepiness software, which offers a sleep management software system, raised $9 million in a round led by TransLink Capital with participation from World Innovation Lab (WiL) as well as existing investors.

Subath Kamalasan, CEO of Somnoware, founded the company in 2011. Prior to founding Somnoware, Kamalasan managed several sleep centers. He realized that creating a system that collects data from health devices and connects providers would benefit the field of sleep medicine.

Patients can use Somnoware to integrate connected sleep tracking devices, track their own sleep data, and receive health-related reminders and alerts. Physicians can manage a number of tasks using Somnoware, including centralizing schedules for facility and home testing, generating a CPAP command from the patient profile, viewing updates updating prescriptions, updating patient demographics, adding insurance information, and tracking pre-authorization details. for studies.

The in-plant price per study is $9 for organizations that are part of Welltrinsic, a national network of connected sleep doctors, or $11 if they are not. The price for home sleep tests per study is $7 for Welltrinsic members and $8 if not. Somnoware also offers corporate pricing.
