Unicon, Inc., a leading technology consulting firm focused solely on the education ecosystem, today announced that Christopher Beach, Senior Software Developer at Unicon, has been selected as a 2022 Apereo Dolphin Fellow. These awards recognize outstanding service and contributions by individuals to the Apereo open source community. From development to project management and other acts of service and support, Apereo Fellows make significant contributions to projects within the foundation.
Chris is the openEQUELLA Technical Lead at Unicon and has been involved in Apereo projects since joining Unicon in 2017. He sits on the uPortal Steering Committee and supports Unicon’s Open Source Support Program for uPortal. Mr. Beach is also an openEQUELLA subject matter expert, sits on the openEQUELLA Advisory Board, and has participated in community developer meetings while they were held. He presented topics on openEQUELLA and uPortal at Open Apereo, and spoke out in favor of integrating the different projects together.
